Time's been flying speedy, we've been here in South Island for
around 4 weeks now, and it's the last week being here, will head up
back to North on this Friday. Critical trip, because we will still be
in Invercargill on Friday, by Sunday night we have to be in Picton to
catch the Ferry back to Wellington.
I would never have
thought of visiting to South Island, thanks to Martin's job giving us
the opportunity to travel together. By reading heaps of stuff on the
internet saying South Island was very beautiful, must not miss it when
you come to New Zealand, of course it doesn't disappoint us.
We
thought it would be snowing, cold, freezing, bad weather, blocked roads
in the South Island, but surprisingly everything turned out alright.
Weather is fine, sunny, though it is a bit cold in the air.
Now
I'm looking forward to back to Auckland. I miss our small apartment,
and I miss cooking dinner by ourselves, going to New Market to do some
shopping, and etc.
I won't come to South Island again, unless My family come over.
We're
now still in Gore, will leave in hours later. I'm doing this internet
thing in a school hall, Martin is giving his presentations about Space
to the students. It's good we can get Woosh wireless connection in
Gore. I thought we'd be going to Invercargill today, but we are going
to Cromwell this afternoon, stay there for one night.
I feel
lucky to be friends with a girl from the forum, she is a nutritionist,
currently traveling in NZ too. She wrote me an email about the high
cholesterol, but the modem at home is broken, my sister won't be able
to read it if I forward that to her. Must send a text to mum this
afternoon, I miss her very much, I hope she is having her healthy diet
now.
This is the photo taken last year when I first came to New Zealand.
Next month, October, I have been in New Zealand for one year.
